Awards + Honors

My work has been showcased at the esteemed World Ceramic Biennale Korea three times - in 2003, 2005 and 2007. In 2007 in additon I received a Special Prize for Design there. In 2011 an award from the Gyeonggi International Competition, also Korea. Furthermore, I have been honored with awards such as the Messe Frankfurt Design Plus Award in 2004 and the Lower Austrian Cultural Award/Special Prize Design in 2007. In 2014, my contributions were acknowledged with the title of Professor by WIT, Wuhan Institute of Technology. In 2025 I received an honorary mention for contributing in a research project by Nanjing University. Achievements also include nominations for notable awards like the Bombay Sapphire Award and the Viktor Papanek Social Design Award.
